IV. CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
There are currently 15 competition classes sanctioned by the IEDA.
The
classes are grouped into 5 major categories (1) Bracket, (3) Stock,
(4) Pro
Sportsman, (5) Pro, and (6) Nitro. The following specifications
must be
adhered to and any disputes and/or questions involving these
specifications
shall be addressed to the Technical Director or Race Director
prior to the
commencement of a race event.
1.0 BRACKET
1.1 Top Sportsman - T/S
Start/Race Format - PRO Tree/Dial-In
Any R/C vehicle is permitted to compete in this class.
1.2 Top Sportsman Truck – T/ST (2 & 4 wheel)

1.3 Hot Rod – H/R

Body: Bodies originally manufactured and/or marketed as
1/10 scale funny car bodies. Rear spoiler has no size limit.
May be attached to rear trunk lid. No wings permitted.

recognizable as a particular full sized car, but may be sectioned, sliced,
or wedged in keeping with the current state of the art in Funny Cars. Rear
Spoiler with no size limit. May be attached to rear trunk lid. No wings
permitted.

5.0 "EXTREME" Eliminator

Any 1/8 scale or smaller R/C vehicle, gas or electric.
NOTE: Min. weight is both before and after the race. Cars are to be
weighed
"as is" before they leave the track, NO re-fueling. In the
event of a record and
a crash the car still must be in weight, driver can lay all the little parts
on the
scale with the body.
6.0 NITRO Classes
General Tech Regulations
Operational throttle return spring required constructed of steel or
orthandental quality rubber band. Exhaust must deflect upward.
Vehicles leaking fuel will be disqualified.
